4th Generation Mössbauer Spectrometers
Experiences: The key to successResearchers of the Palacký University in Olomouc (Czech Republic) have been focusing on the construction of Mössbauer spectrometers since the 1990s, as well as on the development of all necessary equipment as the velocity drives, gamma radiation detectors, electronic synchronization units and software control. Palacky University in Olomouc is runnig about 20 Mössbauer systems with different possibilities. Based on 30 years of everyday use, the spectrometers went through the evolution from complicated and improvized devices, to simple, professional and precise systems. |
Mössbauer equipment for every laboratoryAdvantages of the spectrometers developed at Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials (RCPTM) include their compact and effective design, without need of deep technical knowledge of the end user, along with the fact that they are very simple to install and operate (on a plug-and-play basis). The MS96 Spectrometers are user-friendly and with possibility of remote control. Another highly important feature is the spectrometer compatibility with all known Mössbauer components. |
Beyond standard productEvery one piece of equipment is made directly for customer, thus customization and customer solutions are daily affairs. MS96 Mössbauer Spectrometers can be easilly integrated to any other customer system, such as cryostats (both closed cycle and bath variants), high temperature furnaces, special sample chambers, etc. The spectrometer is controlled via standard USB interface, the control software is designed using LabVIEW enviroment and can be easily customized by us, or even by an end customer. This is especially useful for any kind of measurement automation and experiment control. |
